Bible Versions · Timeless Labs
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Timeless Labs built Bible Versions as a free tool for reading and exploring different versions of the Bible. The service is provided as is.
This policy explains what information is collected when you use the app, what it is used for and how it is protected.
1. Information we collect
The app does not collect personal data such as your name, your email address or your precise location. It only uses the following technical information, which does not identify you:
- Device data: model and operating system version.
- App usage: basic logs, for example which features are used most.
- Approximate country: on the first launch, the app looks up the country from the IP address to choose the Bible edition and the reading voice. Only the country code is stored on your device.
If you choose to, the app saves your content (reading progress, history and bookmarks) in your own Google Drive account. We don’t access those files or store them on our servers.
2. Third-party services
| Service | What it is used for |
|---|---|
| Firebase (Google) | Crash reporting and app diagnostics |
| Google Drive API | Saving your history and preferences in your own Google Drive; only you can access those files |
| Cloudflare | Downloading the Bibles, modules and Verse of the Day images from cdn.timelesslabs.app. Like any web server, it receives the IP address and technical connection data |
| IP geolocation services | Finding the approximate country on the first launch |
We don’t use Google Ads or any service that tracks or profiles your behavior for advertising.
3. How we use the information
The information is used only to:
- improve the app experience;
- detect and fix technical issues;
- offer the right content for your language and region;
- let you store your data privately in your own Google Drive.
We don’t use it to identify you or to track you across other services.
4. Storage and security
- Information is stored on your device and, if you choose, in your own Google Drive, under your control.
- We don’t upload personal files or data to our servers.
- Connections to Google and to our content server are encrypted (HTTPS).
5. Control and deletion of your data
You are in full control of your data:
- You can delete the data saved in your Google Drive at any time.
- Uninstalling the app removes all the data stored on your device.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy. We recommend reviewing it periodically; every change is published here with its new update date.
